BURERA: MODEL VILLAGES TRANSFORM LIVES OF CITIZENS

The Government of Rwanda donated self-contained new houses to forty vulnerable families as the Minister of State for Socio-Economic Development; Hon. Harelimana Cyriaque, inaugurated Mulindi Integrated Development Program Model Village in Butaro Sector, Burera District.

One of beneficiaries is Rwangarita Gaspard, 72, with his wife; they thanked President Kagame for supporting vulnerable citizens in transforming their lives.

He said; “I can’t find enough words to express my feeling and gratitude to His Excellency President Kagame, but what I am sure of is that my life is now changing into the better. This house is a foundation for the transformational development we are going to acquire.”

Minister of State Harelimana Cyriaque told the forty families who received the modern houses that; the leadership of Rwanda wishes to see all Rwandans inclusively making an outstanding progress in life.

He said; “Since the houses make the foundation, it’s now your time to work hard and exemplarily to register more achievements. You are required to take care of these houses with hygiene and sanitation.”

Minister of State Harelimana Cyriaque visited other social economic projects in the district including; construction of University of Global Health Equity - Butaro Campus; Butaro Hospital specialized in cancer treatment; Burera Resort Beach; Cross Border Market at Cyanika border, among others. He finally held a meeting with Burera officials.
