MINALOC’s History

After stopping the war and the genocide of 1994, the Rwandan Patriotic Front - Inkotanyi, with other political parties who were not involved in the killing, created a transitional Government on the 19th of July 1994. It is then that the Ministry of Internal Affairs was created.

This Ministry has been changing names according to the assigned responsibilities.
