MINALOC receives a delagation from the National Registration Bureau of Malawi
03 August 2023, the Permanent Secretary Samuel Dusengiyumva received at MINALOC office the members of a delegation from the National Registration Bureau of the Republic of the Republic of Malawi who are in Rwanda for a benchmark visit. The delegation of 13 members are in Rwanda from 30th July until 06th August 2023.
They discussed among other things on policies and strategies for civil registration (births, marriages, deaths,) and coordination of civil registration activities at decentralized level; facilitation of a conducive legal framework for the development and implementation of the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) System; and stakeholders’ collaboration mechanisms in the process; as well as the role of the Ministry of Local Government in management, coordination, and implementation of the "CRVS" system.
