Minister Habimana, accompanied by Ambassador Igor Marara, met with H.E. Fahad Hamad Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD). The discussions centered on expanding Rwanda–Qatar collaboration in implementing and scaling innovative social programmes, including the cash transfer initiative implemented by GiveDirectly, as well as promoting education and sustainable community development.
In a separate bilateral meeting, Minister Habimana also met with H.E. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation.
