Ingabire Assumpta handover to Marie Solange Kayisire
Kigali - On Thursday, 24 August 2023, the outgoing Minister of State in charge of Social Affairs Ms. Ingabire Assumpta handed-over to the incoming Minister of State for Local Government, Hon. Marie Solange Kayisire. The ceremony was chaired by Hon. Musabyimana Jean Claude, Minister of Local Government.
In her handover presentation, Ms. Ingabire expressed a number of milestones registered in different sector priorities since she joined the ministry as the Minister of State in charge of Social Affairs portfolio.
"I thank MINALOC, affiliated agencies and Local Government family for your cooperation during my tenure. I expect you to continue to be cooperative because I will need the support of Local Government in my new responsibilities." Ingabire said
The incoming Minister of State for Local Government, Hon. Marie Solange Kayisire who previously served as the Minister for Emergency Management expressed that she is looking forward to working with everyone to help the Ministry, Affiliated agencies and Local Government attain their respective missions and mandates.
Minister Musabyimana Jean Claude who chaired this handover ceremony pledged his full support and that of MINALOC staff and affiliated agencies to the new Minister of State.
