Minister Gatabazi addressed Executive Secretaries of Sectors and cells of Gakenke District
Gakenke District, on September 11th 2022, Hon. Minister Gatabazi Jean Marie Vianney officiated the closing ceremony of a 3-day retreat of 134 Executive Secretaries of all sectors and cells of Gakenke District.
In his remarks, Minister Gatabazi emphasized on service, citizen centered governance, monitoring of IDP model villages, soil erosion control, among other things.
“You have responsibility solve citizens’ complaints and the government gave you the tools and channels you need to be successful. We also want you to constantly monitor IDP Model villages and all other villages built for vulnerable people and ensure that the citizens living in those villages live decent life.” He said
Minister commended the achievements of Gakenke District in “Ejo Heza” and Community Based Health Insurance (CBHI) programs; the district rank among the top performing districts in both programs.
