Muhanga: Local government women network convenes for the 3rd general assembly
More than 300 women leaders in local government women network convened today in Muhanga for the 3rd general assembly which was also attended by Minister Consolée Uwimana of Gender and Family Promotion alongside Minister of State in Ministry of Local Government Marie Solange Kayisire.
In her opening remarks, Minister Kayisire highlighted the government will to continue to sustain the key achievements in women promotion journey. She reiterade the important role of women in governance especially local government entities.
