Five Cabinet Members Visit Various Activities in Local Communities
On 13 and 14 January five cabinet members and other high ranking officials from Rwanda National Police and Rwanda Defence Force conducted a two-day visit in Northern Province to assess the impact of socio-economic projects to the local communities.
The Minister of Local Government Prof. Shyaka Anastase, Minister of Internal Affairs Gen. Nyamvumba Patrick, Minister of Education Dr. Mutimura, Minister of Trade and Industry Soraya Hakuziyaremye, Minister of State Ndimubanzi Patrick, and Inspector General of Police Dan Munyuza and high ranking officials from RDF visited agricultural, commercial, educational and health projects and interacted with community members who exploit them.
They visited various sites and socio-economic activities in Gicumbi and Burera Districts in order to spur local economic development and community welfare.
During their interaction with local citizens they urged them to work hard in order to upgrade their life so as to be able to contribute to the development of Rwanda the way they want.
