MINALOC Celebrates Labour Day
On Friday, May 16, 2025, the staff of the Ministry of Local Government (MINALOC) celebrated Labour Day by embracing teamwork and promoting a culture of excellence.
During the event, outstanding employees from various departments were recognized for their exceptional performance, with Mucyo Hervé awarded as the overall top performer.
Other recognized employees included Mukankubito Bernadette, Kabanda Rusangiza JMV, Rutishereka Jean Pierre, Uwingeneye Consolée, Mujawamariya Petronille, Ingabire Josiane, Uwimana Japhet, and Ujeneza Delice.
The celebration was graced by the Ministry’s top leadership, including Minister Dr. Patrice Mugenzi, Minister of State Marie Solange Kayisire, and Permanent Secretary Bob Gakire, among others.
Minister Mugenzi commended the staff for their continued dedication to improving service delivery and encouraged them to always place citizens at the center of their work.
The event also featured discussions on how employees can maintain their mental and physical well-being, both in the workplace and at home, as a means of boosting overall productivity.
